On the same broadcast, a Republican congressman running for governor of Florida blamed the measles outbreak on “rampant illegal immigration.” Florida’s kindergarten vaccination rate has already fallen below herd immunity. So has the country’s, as measles spreads at 35-year highs. Neither man named the president.
