Every night, GovBrief tells you what your government did today, and a lot of it is bad or scandalous. This page is the good. Each story here clears one bar: a city, state, or the federal government used its own power to deliver a real, material benefit. Government itself is the actor doing the good, and the story is not evidence of the system failing.
