What Happened Today – May 24, 2026

The president spent some of his Sunday posting AI mugshots of his political enemies.

Trump’s “Shady Bunch” put Obama, Comey, and six other opponents in orange prison jumpsuits, arranged in a Brady Bunch grid. “Sick group of people,” he wrote. His Justice Department charged Comey last month with threatening to kill the president over a beach photo of seashells arranged to read “86 47.” The day after, Trump told reporters that “86” is “a mob term for kill ’em” and posted the same theory on Truth Social.

The cartoon names who Trump wants in prison. The indictment shows who he can already reach. The mockery on Truth Social and the prosecutions in court are the same campaign. Don’t let anyone in your life call this satire.

When you see these mistakes made by Hegseth. … With all of these mistakes in total, it’s beginning to make Kristi Noem look like a five-star recruit … We were told about 11 weeks ago by Hegseth and Department of Defense that they had obliterated Iran’s defenses and it was just a matter of time before we had the nuclear material. Now we are talking about a posture where we may accept the nuclear material remaining in Iran? How does that make sense at all?
