What Happened Today – October 24, 2026

Elon Musk admitted Saturday that SpaceX spent more than a week throttling the satellite link Ukraine uses to fight off Russia’s invasion.

He said Ukraine’s military broke Starlink’s terms of service by using it for offensive strikes, and that “loophole was closed last week.” Drone missions on the front line faltered until Ukraine said full service came back Saturday.

We expect presidents and heads of state to make wartime decisions, not a private citizen who owns the satellites and writes the terms of service. He has also spent more than $442 million on the midterms to keep Republicans in control of Congress.

The presidential pardons, they say, are the most powerful thing a president has. I certainly don't want to see innocent people go through hell and lose all their money, like Margo [Martin], lose all their money, because if she becomes a target, you know she's a very honest person. But they're going to drag her into a grand jury. Margo, you're not going to have to worry about it, okay?
