With no pool camera or microphone nearby, the idling helicopter behind him drowned out his voice. All three outlets sued Monday, and the case landed with the same judge who ordered Trump’s first administration to restore CNN reporter Jim Acosta’s press pass in 2018.
By tonight, the White House response was Trump TV, a 24/7 video stream of his own past speeches and “best moments.” It plays on a loop, and it never takes a question.
